In St. Augustine, kids enjoy living history, especially when it includes hands-on experiences at the Colonial Quarter where the Historic Adventure Tour takes visitors on a journey through three centuries of St. Augustine history. Kids will meet 18th century reenactors at the Castillo de San Marcos. Get to watch cannon firings and hear stories about what it was like to serve in the Spanish colonial military. Other fascinating and fun experiences can be discovered at The Old Florida Museum, Fountain of Youth Archeological Park, and the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum. Each offers its own band of fun interactive experiences for kids to see and feel history.

Summer family vacations are more memorable when kids take part in one of the area’s many unusual summer camps. The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park, Marineland Dolphin Adventure, and Limelight Theatre, are among the attractions that offer unique programs and adventures for kids.
