Concerts in the Plaza

May — September 2027

Want to include a little time travel into your St. Augustine visit?

Transport yourself back in time during your St. Augustine getaway with a dose of live music tradition in the heart of history. Every Thursday evening, the Plaza de la Constitución becomes a portal to the past, where over 400 years of gatherings under leafy live oaks have set the stage for cherished moments. Join locals and visitors in the age-old ritual of Concerts in the Plaza, where the iconic Gazebo hosts an array of regional talents, serenading audiences with melodies that echo through the ages.

Despite the modern comfort of folding chairs, the ambiance effortlessly transcends eras, inviting attendees to sway to the rhythms of yesteryears just as their predecessors did. Witness the fusion of generations as blues, country, rock, folk, soul, and timeless hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s fill the air, promising something for every musical palate.

Pack a picnic basket (minus the alcoholic beverages) and indulge in culinary delights amidst the melodies, or venture to nearby eateries for a delectable feast within walking distance. And for a tantalizing historical tidbit, ponder the concrete flower bed near the Gazebo, rumored to have once housed baby alligators for the amusement of onlookers.

Engage in lively discussions with fellow concert-goers as you immerse yourself in this timeless tradition, where the past whispers secrets and the present embraces nostalgia. It's a journey through time you won't soon forget.
