Discover a unique chapter of America’s story as the Castillo de San Marcos explores St. Augustine’s role as the “14th Colony” during the St. Augustine History Festival. In anticipation of the nation’s 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026, this special, British-themed program highlights the period when St. Augustine remained loyal to the Crown during the American Revolution. Taking place May 9 from 9 a.m.-4 m., the daylong experience offers a fascinating look at this lesser-known perspective on America’s founding. Admission is $15 for adults (ages 16 and up).
