Dr. Richard Alston, a virtuoso pianist and accomplished recitalist, will elevate the celebration of Black History Month through a captivating concert and enlightening discussion. Holding degrees from the prestigious Juilliard School of Music, both a Bachelor's and a Master's, Dr. Alston boasts an impressive performance portfolio, including recitals, collaborations as a guest soloist with orchestras, live opera, numerous recordings, and a reputation as a highly sought-after educator in the northeastern United States.
