St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival
Get ready for the Culinary Event on Florida’s Historic Coast, May 6-9, 2021
Foodies have always been drawn to St. Augustine for the culinary scene. After all, it was the site of the first Thanksgiving. And still, today, this melting pot of cultures is considered one of the best places to enjoy international cuisine. It’s certainly no surprise Southern Living Magazine named St. Augustine among the Best Food Towns in the South in 2019.
And now there’s even more reason to visit Florida’s Historic Coast this Spring: The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival will be taking place here May 6-9. This exciting showcase of culinary, beverage, and culture celebrates celebrity guest chefs, celebrity winemakers/proprietors, local chefs, artisans, and local craft spirits/beers with a wide variety of events for all tastebuds, from wine dinners and tasting events to master classes and more.
The European flavor of St. Augustine | Ponte Vedra is something visitors experience when they stroll along the bayfront, or walk down Aviles Street, with its brick-lined street, quaint shops and balconies brimming with bougainvillea. In this walking-friendly town filled with historic sites like the Castillo de San Marcos, award-winning restaurants, and outdoor cafes and wine gardens, you’ll want to spend some time experiencing the old-world charm of the Nation’s Oldest City.
The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum and the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort, St. Augustine are the host location sites for the 2021 festival, located 20 minutes north of historic downtown St. Augustine. There are two 18-hole world-renowned golf courses adjacent to the resort. Jacksonville is only 30 minutes away from the World Golf Village. And the festival has some fantastic accommodations available, from the host resort partner to charming bed and breakfasts, located in the Historic District. Check out special deals on accommodations here and the festival’s schedule of events.
