The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival is Back!

The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival is a culinary celebration taking place in one of the country’s most beautiful and historic cities. A showcase of culinary, beverage and culture that highlights celebrity guest chefs, celebrity winemakers/ proprietors, local chefs, artisans and local craft spirits/beers. The festival offers a wide variety of events for all tastebuds, from wine dinners and tasting events, to master classes and more.
Featured culinary presenters include Iron Chef Cat Cora; Rebecca Lang, Southern Living Chef; Robert Owens, BBQ Grand Champion Hari Pulapaka, Global Cooking School; along with many of Florida’s Historic Coast best known culinarians like Chef Matt Brown of Lena, Chef Barry Honan of Lotus Noodle Bar, Philip McDaniel, St. Augustine Distillery; Brian Whittington, Preserved and Chop Shop; Chef DeeAnn Hobbs, Renaissance World Golf Resort, and many others.
Events start May 4th with “River Walk Tastings” at San Sebastian Winery, followed by a “Winemaker’s Dinner” on May 5th at the World Golf Hall of Fame and “Epicurean Master Classes” at the St. Johns County Convention Center on May 6th.
One of the highlights of the festival on May 7th is the “Smoke on the Walk” along the Walk of Champions at the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum. This BBQ extravaganza showcases the southeast’s most celebrated pitmasters and grill masters doing what they do best.
The “Main Event” takes place on May 7th along the Walk of Champions where guests will enjoy live music and unlimited tastings of craft beers, wines and spirits in a souvenir glass as they feast on some of the best gourmet dishes around. New this year is the “Preserved Restaurant Wine Dinner” that evening with Executive Chef Brian Whittington preparing a special four-course dinner with wine pairings along with celebrity guest chefs.
Finally, on Mother’s Day, May 8th, “The Jazz Brunch” kicks off a memorable day for the family with a rose and a souvenir glass for each special lady. Then, a wonderful feast including buffet, carving station, seafood station, all kinds of desserts, not to mention a bloody mary bar, champagne and mimosas—truly something for every palate. You won’t want to miss this amazing event.
