Overview
Experience the story of St. Augustine inside Flagler College, originally built in 1888 by Henry M. Flagler as the grand Hotel Ponce de Leon. This National Historic Landmark showcases stunning Spanish Renaissance architecture, from the Rotunda’s hand-painted dome to the Dining Hall’s 79 stained-glass windows by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
Guided tours now feature immersive exhibits that bring history to life, including a build-your-own Tiffany window, digital storytelling displays, and a recreated early 20th-century guest room.
Tours depart from 74 King Street and explore the beautifully preserved ground floor of the former hotel. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, this experience offers a meaningful way to discover the place where history begins.
