Overview
With more than 1,600 acres of pristine beaches, tidal marshes, maritime hammocks, and ancient sand dunes, Anastasia State Park is one of Florida's premier outdoor destinations. Hike the Ancient Dunes Nature Trail, paddle Salt Run by kayak or stand-up paddleboard, fish, bike, birdwatch, or simply relax along four miles of beautiful Atlantic shoreline. As part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail, the park is home to a wide variety of coastal and migratory birds.
The park features 139 campsites for tents and RVs with water and electric hookups, all nestled beneath a shady maritime hammock just a short walk or bike ride from the beach. Visitors can also enjoy the park's new glamping bungalows, including the themed Honey Bee Bungalow, for a more comfortable camping experience.
Covered picnic pavilions, beach wheelchairs, bike rentals, the Island Beach Shop & Grill, and seasonal lifeguards make it easy to spend the day—or the weekend—exploring one of Florida's most scenic state parks.
