The 40th annual St. Augustine Lions Spring Festival returns to Francis Field with seafood delicacies and all kinds of cuisine and county fair foods, live entertainment for the whole family, kids rides and 100 craft artisans. Enjoy two days of great food and fun including a live music lineup featuring regional favorites to be announced. As always, the festival will serve up traditional fish and shrimp, lobster rolls and Cajun specialties but this year, there’s way more food selections to please all palates.
The festival is truly a community event and has been the primary fundraising event for the St. Augustine Lions Foundation each year since 1981. So, while it’s expected to draw 28,000 attendees, making it the largest festival in St. Augustine, it is also generating funds for a multitude of charitable needs and services to the community with a focus on youth, the deaf and blind, disaster relief, veterans, and so much more.
Festival hours are Saturday, March 25th from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Sunday, March 26th from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. The Arts & Crafts village closes at sundown. No pets allowed except service animals.
Free shuttle service will be offered on both days. Times for the shuttle vary and the shuttle operates from two parking locations north of downtown:
- St. Johns County Health Department, 200 San Sebastian View
- San Marco Lot, 301 San Marco Ave.
- Broudy's, 198 W. King St.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for youth ages 15 and under. For updated details on music lineup, parking and shuttle, visit lionsfestival.com.
