Dive Into the 44th Annual St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival

Mark your calendars for the 44th Annual St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival, taking place March 6 & 7, 2027, at its new home: the St. Johns County Fairgrounds on State Road 207. The new venue offers abundant parking and no downtown traffic, just minutes from I-95. This community tradition promises two days of delicious seafood, toe-tapping entertainment, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities, all for a good cause.

Festival proceeds support charitable causes and individuals in need, locally first, then across the state, the nation and the world.

St. Johns County Fairgrounds, 5840 State Road 207 (about 10 minutes from I-95)

Hours:

Saturday, March 6: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday, March 7: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Some exhibitors close at sundown.

Note: No pets (except certified service animals), no weapons, and no outside food or drinks other than single bottles of water and supplies for infants. Coolers are not allowed, but plenty of seating is provided.

Entertainment

The 2027 entertainment lineup will be announced closer to the festival. Expect a full slate of live music on the main stage, from jazz, Latin and country to folk, classic rock, Motown and contemporary, plus costumed characters roaming the grounds.

Admission & Parking

Admission is $10 for adults, payable in cash at the gate or with prepaid tickets. Active duty military with a DOD ID are admitted free, and same-day re-admission is allowed.

Most food vendors and kids' rides accept cash or cards, and ATMs are available on site. Each food vendor donates a portion of sales to the SAL Foundation, so every dollar spent on food helps someone in need.

Parking: Parking at the fairgrounds is abundant, with lots adjacent to the festival or within a five-minute walk. Accessible parking is available on both sides of the grounds, along with a drop-off area at the gate.

Family-Friendly Fun at Pirate Landing

Families can visit Pirate Landing both Saturday and Sunday for interactive entertainment with Captain Mayhem and the Swashbucklers. Activities include:

  • Pirate magic shows
  • Juggling
  • Storytelling
  • Singing and dancing
  • Kids' games (a few are free for little ones)
  • Photos with mermaids and the pirate crew
  • Meet-and-greets with SAL the Lion mascot and other characters

Pirate Landing is a popular spot for the whole family during the festival.
