The free Nights of Lights app (our “Know Before You Go” app) is the official mobile guide to St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights, which runs from Saturday, November 21, 2026, through Monday, January 18, 2027. It shows free park-and-ride shuttle lots and estimated shuttle times, interactive maps, open restaurants, live music, public restrooms and 24/7 live cameras of Historic Downtown. The app is available for iPhone on the Apple App Store and for Android on the Google Play Store.
What is Nights of Lights?
Nights of Lights is St. Augustine’s world-renowned, award-winning holiday display. More than three million white lights cover the building tops and treetops of the Nation’s oldest city. Nights of Lights is free and open to everyone, with no tickets required. It is not a drive-thru event: it is best enjoyed by parking at a free shuttle lot and exploring Historic Downtown on foot or on a tour.
When is Nights of Lights 2026–27?
Dates: Saturday, November 21, 2026 – Monday, January 18, 2027
Opening night: Light-Up! Night, Saturday, November 21, 2026, with live entertainment and the official lighting ceremony at the Plaza de la Constitución
Where should I park for Nights of Lights?
Use St. Augustine’s free park-and-ride lots and shuttles instead of sitting in downtown traffic and hunting for paid parking. The Nights of Lights app gives you directions to each lot, estimated shuttle times and a way to pin where you parked. Shuttle lots, routes and schedules for 2026–27 are posted in the app closer to the event.
