We are delighted to have you visit Florida’s Historic Coast!
Dear Attendees of the Volaire Air Service Forum,
We hope you enjoy your visit to the nation’s oldest city and you have the opportunity to enjoy some of our historic sites, get a taste of our amazing culinary scene and even dip your toes in the Atlantic waters along our 42 miles of pristine beaches.
If you’re staying downtown, you might be surprised to discover what a walkable town St. Augustine is—allowing you to fit in a lot of history and fun during a break. Just walk along the Plaza de la Constitucion, stroll down toward the harbor where our marble lions will greet you at the iconic Bridge of Lions, then a short walk along the bay front will take you back more than 300 years at the Castillo de San Marcos.
If golf is more your speed, you’re just a short drive from the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course, home of THE PLAYERS® Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach. Along the way, soak in the breathtaking beauty of the coastline, the GTM Research Reserve and the spot where Ponce de Leon first claimed the land for Spain. (It looks virtually as it did in 1513.)
There’s so much to see and do on Florida’s Historic Coast, we want to make sure you get to experience as much as possible during your visit. We invite you to take a look at what’s going on while you’re here at https://www.floridashistoriccoast.com/things-to-do/.
We know you’ll enjoy your time here--just as millions of visitors a year do--and we hope to welcome you back soon. In the meantime, let us know how we can make your time here more productive and enjoyable.
Sincerely,
Richard Goldman
