St. Augustine, Fla. (April 24, 2025) – Weddings don’t have to be stressful. Some of Florida’s Historic Coast’s most picturesque venues offer great wedding packages that make wedding planning easy and fun.
The St. Francis Inn and Casa de Sueños Bed & Breakfast offer intimate packages perfect for couples celebrating a private elopement, small wedding, or vow renewal ceremony. Built in 1791 and retaining its historic charm, the St. Francis Inn is nestled in the quiet residential section of St. George Street. Casa de Sueños, or the House of Dreams, is centrally located in St. Augustine’s historic district.
With a fleet of luxury sailing yachts, St. Augustine Sailing knows a thing or two about tying the knot. They offer three packages for two to more than 30 guests. Docked just north of Historic Downtown St. Augustine at Windward at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor, St. Augustine Sailing is a hidden gem.
The Oldest House Museum Complex and Gardens are steeped in romance. Built in the 1700s, Florida’s oldest colonial house features stately oak trees and vintage brick paths for an old Florida feel. Couples can choose the Oldest House Museum Gardens, the Fernandez-Llambias House and Gardens, or both for their special day.
For a nostalgic Florida wedding with a twist, take over The Local – St. Augustine. A classic roadside motel, it has been completely renovated with modern amenities. The charming courtyard is perfect for a small ceremony and reception, holding up to 50 guests. And don’t worry about accommodations – The Local has 20 sleeping rooms.
Take to the high seas for a wedding on a pirate ship. The Black Raven Pirate Ship can comfortably accommodate up to 110 guests on three decks and offers catering and bar options. Weddings can be private or during a public charter, and traditional pirate garb is welcomed and encouraged. The only question: is it “I do” or “Aye do?”
Timeless elegance has a home at St. Johns Golf and Country Club. Couples can host a classic country club wedding and reception, from an intimate two-person ceremony to a 220-guest grand celebration. With four venue spaces and newly renovated indoor and outdoor sites, the vibe can be relaxed or formal. Wedding planning is a breeze, with their wedding team handling the heavy lifting.
