Discover the stories, resilience, and culture of St. Johns County’s African American communities on this immersive heritage tour. Traveling through Hastings, Armstrong, West Augustine, Lincolnville, and Fort Mose, participants hear from local historians and community leaders about the region’s roots, agricultural legacy, and role in the fight for freedom and civil rights. Guided experiences and special presentations offer insight into both the area’s history and the communities shaping its future. The free tour runs from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and departs from Fort Mose Historic State Park, 15 Fort Mose Trl., St. Augustine. www.sjcfl.us/recreation
