Be among the first to experience the story of one of America’s most iconic landmarks at the premiere of the Ponce documentary and the open house of the newly renovated Ponce Hall, formerly the Hotel Ponce de Leon. The event begins at 10 a.m. at Lewis Auditorium.
Built in 1888 by Henry Flagler, the Ponce was a marvel of its age, featuring electricity installed by Thomas Edison, dazzling Tiffany stained glass, and Spanish Renaissance architecture that transformed St. Augustine into a Gilded Age destination. The new documentary highlights the legacy of the Ponce as both a luxury hotel and the heart of Flagler College, celebrating its status as a National Historic Landmark.
