Top Holiday Performances and Concerts for 2023

Let us entertain you this season with live music, dance, drama and all kinds of magical events.
There’s so much to see and do on Florida’s Historic Coast during Nights of Lights. And while it’s all lights and twinkling outside, there’s even more to dazzle you inside. From chorus and jazz concerts to ballets and acrobatic performances, there are as many ways to celebrate the season as there are lights on the tree. Here are some of our favorite holiday performances the whole family can enjoy (check individual links for specific show times and tickets).
December 6 – A Peter White Christmas 20th Anniversary Special featuring Mindi Abair and Vincent Ingala at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall
Join Peter White, Mindi Abair and Vincent Ingala for a magical night of Christmas classics and all their smooth jazz hits.
December 9 & 10 – The Dance Company’s St. Augustine Winter Spectacular!
Over 100 performers including ballerinas, tap dancers, acrobats in an entertaining holiday storyline in this original production at the Lewis Auditorium.
December 9 & 10 – Christmas Joy! presented by St. Augustine Community Chorus
The St. Augustine Community Chorus welcomes the season with performances of old standards, selections from The Messiah and other holiday favorites at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine.
December 12 – EMMA Concert Association Presents Holiday Pops Concert
Everybody loves the Holiday Pops Concert. The Gainesville Symphony Orchestra performs at this favorite annual event at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College.
December 15 – January 1 – Venardos Circus at The AMP
Enjoy world-class circus acts in a Broadway musical-style format created by former Ringling Bros. Ringmaster Kevin Venardos. Special performance times on Christmas and New Years Eve/Day.
December 15-17 – St. Augustine Ballet Presents The Nutcracker
The Sugar Plum Fairy, the Mouse King, Clara, Uncle Drosselmeyer and all the Nutcracker characters return in this timeless classic featuring professional ballet dancers and students at Lewis Auditorium.
December 17 - Sounds of the Season with the St. Augustine Orchestra at Kelly Farms
Sounds of the Season features Holiday favorites; Sleigh Ride, Frosty the Snowman, Carol of the Bells, Charlie Brown Christmas, Sleigh Ride, T'was the Night Before Christmas.
December 17 - Messiah Sing-a-Long presented by St. Augustine Community Chorus
Join St Augustine Community Chorus for their unique Messiah Sing-a-Long this Christmas as they celebrate their 75th Anniversary season. Sing the Christmas portion of this classic and experience the magic of choral music uniting the community in a shared journey towards 'a more perfect peace.
December 20 & 21 - Christmas Fantastique
Don't miss Christmas FANTASTIQUE, the Nutcracker like you have never seen it before, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Lewis Auditorium. The original production from Zoika's Dance reimagines the classic holiday story of “The Nutcracker” and features thrilling contemporary dance styles including hip hop, tap, jazz, acro and modern dance, as well as classical ballet. Admission is $20-$30.
December 30 & 31 – La Bohème Presented by First Coast Opera
Indulge in the timeless passion of Puccini's masterpiece as you welcome the New Year. Performed in English with complimentary champagne at intermission.
