Culture is Alive and Well in Ponte Vedra

A visit to the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra will inspire you.

December 30, 2019

Talk about taking in some local color! How about a visit to see some amazing artwork by local, regional and national artists right in Ponte Vedra? The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach is where all in the community are invited to create, understand, and experience the arts. From art exhibitions of work in a variety of media, exciting events and even art classes, lectures and workshops, the visitor to Ponte Vedra will have the opportunity to not only see art, but participate in creating it if they desire.

There are eight exhibitions annually of professional artists’ work in the galleries with opening receptions for each. Exhibiting artists are invited to these openings to share their work and talk to visitors about their creative process, offering a truly personal opportunity for visitors to interact with the artist and understand their art on a deeper level. The Galleries are free and open to the public thanks to individual and corporate support.

Throughout your visit, you’ll see evidence of the Cultural Center’s mission of “bringing the arts into the life of the community” by providing opportunities for emerging and professional artists to develop and showcase their artistic talents.

While you’re there, be sure to take a stroll through the Sculpture Garden in the courtyard where you’ll discover unique sculptural works by renowned artist, Enzo Torcoletti. The Sculpture Garden is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. And, those are just some of our international sights without international flights®.
