Overview
Since 1948, the Saint Augustine Community Chorus has been captivating audiences with quality choral performances in the area, and this year marks their 75th anniversary. As a highlight of the celebration, they will present their Masterworks Concert on May 11, featuring the premiere of a commissioned piece by composer Z. Randall Stroope, "A New Constellation," with Stroope himself in attendance. Under the direction of Michael Sanflippo and accompanied by Shannon McKay, the concert titled "Sing On!" symbolizes the chorus's commitment to their next 75 years, with tickets available for $10-$30 at The Cathedral Basilica at 7:30 p.m. 38 Cathedral Place, St. Augustine. www.romanzafestivale.com
