Romanza Festivale an Extravaganza of Art, Culture, Heritage and Entertainment

Each spring, St. Augustine’s Romanza Festivale of the Arts celebrates the diverse culture of the Nation’s Oldest City - St. Augustine. Dozens of arts and cultural organizations along with local businesses collaborate to showcase music, dance, theatre, art, cuisine and heritage.
The thriving arts and culture scene of Florida’s Historic Coast is known for its diversity of artistic expression and its wealth of talent. St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra are bustling with live music, galleries large and small, historic sites, museums, unique shops and eclectic bistros.
The annual Romanza Festivale is designed to inspire people to attend shows, exhibits and performances. Multiple venues, many within walking distance of each other, encourage exploration of the ancient city while enjoying arts and cultural events developed from the community’s creative energy.

Historic reenactments, theatrical performances, heritage and food festivals, orchestras and choral concerts, art exhibits and more make up the 10 day extravaganza that is Romanza! Each year, Romanza includes events such as the Government House Changing of the Guard, food & wine tours, Chamber Music Series, Jazz, Folk, Spanish and Blues concerts, Aviles Street Festival, Spanish Military Hospital and St. Augustine Lighthouse museum tours, and special exhibits by the St. Augustine Art Association.
