Break Out the Butterfly Clips: As If! ‘90s Fest Is Back for One Final Blowout
Dust off those Doc Martens and fire up your dial-up, because the ultimate throwback party is going full throttle for one last ride. The As If! ‘90s Fest is taking over a new, bigger venue—Maritime Creative in Elkton—and the lineup? It’s hella stacked. We’re talking Sisqó, C+C Music Factory, and yes, Hulk Hogan is hosting. (Insert dramatic wrestling voice: “Whatcha gonna do when the ‘90s run wild on you?!”)
It all goes down Saturday, May 17, from 2 to 9 p.m. at 1105 County Road 13A S., Elkton. And for the festival’s fifth and final year, they’re pulling out all the stops.
“We’ve outgrown our old space—this thing just keeps getting more popular every year,” said Jeanetta Cebollero, the brains behind the fest and owner of Ancient City Entertainment. “The new location means more room for food trucks, vendors, garage bands, kid zones, and a second stage. Plus, we’ve got weather coverage, so come rain or shine, we’re partying like it’s 1999.”
If you still know all the words to “Thong Song,” you’re in for a treat. Sisqó will be on stage, alongside dance-floor legends C+C Music Factory (“Everybody Dance Now,” anyone?). But that’s just the start. You’ll also catch:
General admission is $60, kids 10 and under are just $20, and the VIP treatment is $150—which includes entry into a raffle for a seriously epic prize pack (think meet-and-greets with headliners, a night at the Renaissance, concert tix, booze, and more).
You can snag your tickets and get the full scoop at www.asifthe90sfest.com.
Chairs and picnic blankets? Totally welcome. Backpacks and coolers? Not so much. But don’t stress—there’ll be plenty of food, drinks, and even an official Afterparty to keep the vibes rolling well into the night.
Bonus feel-good points: Proceeds benefit ACE Alliance, a nonprofit supporting folks in the entertainment, tourism, and hospitality industries along coastal Northeast Florida.
So grab your fanny pack and prep your best Carlton dance. This is one ‘90s bash you don’t want to miss.
