What You Need To Know

At the St. Augustine Art Association, re-enactors in period clothing step into the roles of Jacques LeMoyne, Martin Johnson Heade and John James Audubon to muse upon their experiences roaming area marshes, rivers and settlements in pursuit of the primeval beauty of man and nature. Iconic works of famous art punctuate their stories, along with cutting edge recycled fashions inspired by nature motifs. Produced by Melissa Stuart, theatrical director and history guide, the performance is set against the backdrop of the 9th Annual Nature & Wildlife Art Exhibition, an installation of 130 works of fine art from across the country. This free event begins at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. so visitors may view the art exhibition. Reservations are required.
