What You Need To Know

Enjoy this spring concert on Mother's Day by the St. Augustine Community Chorus at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. Vivaldi's Gloria, written in the early 18th century, contrasts greatly with Poulenc's setting, which premiered some 250 years later in 1961. Listeners will discover both abundant contrast as well as some commonalities in these two choral masterworks, which are dynamic standards in the choral repertoire. This premier concert is a culminating event of St. Augustine's Romanza Festivale of the Arts. Admission ranges from $20-$5.
