Weekend Events on Florida's Historic Coast

1. First Friday Art Walk

Date: December 4, 2021

Join Art Galleries of St. Augustine the first Friday of every month from 5-9 p.m. for new exhibits, refreshments and live music at many participating galleries.

Experience the magic and excitement of the holidays at the 8th Annual St. Augustine Winter Spectacular! The show features different scenes that comprise a family-friendly, entertaining storyline that follows a young girl’s journey during the holidays with a dance-based storyline including kicklines, ballerinas, tap dancers, acrobats, and musical theatre numbers. Performances are in the beautiful Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College amidst the Nights of Lights on Saturday, December 4th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 5th at 2 p.m.

It's time to Get Lit and celebrate the holidays at the inaugural West King lighting of the historical West King Street neighborhood. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with light up at 5:30 p.m. West King Street businesses will be open, with live music and food trucks.

4. Palm Valley Boat Parade

Date: December 4, 2021

Enjoy this annual tradition of lighted boats to celebrate the holiday season in Ponte Vedra Beach. The parade route is seven miles of the Intracoastal and starts one mile south of the Palm Valley Bridge and travels north.

5. Holiday Traditions by Candlelight at Ximenez-Fatio House Museum

Date: Every Friday & Saturday through January 8

Holiday Traditions by Candlelight Tour at the circa 1798 Ximenez-Fatio House Museum. This family-friendly nighttime event features holiday stories of the 1800s and runs each night at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m.

Join the Villa Zorayda's 12th Annual Candlelight Tour featuring the Grand Lighting of the Christmas Tree. Beautifully decorated for the holidays with a spectacular Christmas Tree decorated in the colors of the Zorayda - red and gold - located center stage in the Court of Lions. Victorian and traditional decorations are found in every room for visitors to enjoy. Over 100 candles are aglow throughout the museum as your take a state of the art audio guided tour of this historic former home.

7. Hastings Hometown Christmas Parade

Date: December 11, 2021

Experience this holiday parade at 10 a.m. that will take place down Main Street in Hastings starting at the W.E. Harris Community Center.

8. Regatta of Lights

Date: December 11, 2021

Join us on the bayfront north of the Bridge of Lions for the annual Regatta of Lights boat parade. Watch the brilliant displays of brightly lit boats pass by decorated in everything from whimsical to patriotic themes.

Arts & Crafts Festival Tents | Florida's Historic Coast

A cool vibe Artisan’s Market featuring local art, trinkets, coffee, music, aromatherapy and more! Free Parking Available. Come and get your Sunday groove on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Enjoy a hayride through this ¾ miles drive thru Christmas light display at Sykes Family Farms, 5995 Brough Rd., Elkton. Bring the family, sip on hot chocolate or apple cider while roasting s'mores over the large fire pit. Mr. & Mrs. Claus are visiting from the North Pole so be sure to get some great pictures. Admission is $20 per carload (up to 7 passengers) Fridays & Saturdays, 6-11 p.m.

11. Venardos Circus at The AMP

Date: December 18 - January 2, 2022

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre welcomes back the Venardos Circus! Created by former Ringling Bros. Ringmaster Kevin Venardos, the Venardos Circus wraps world-class circus acts into a Broadway Musical-style format that is called “the American Circus with the heart of a Broadway Show.” Shows run Wednesday through Sunday for the entire engagement, with multiple show times on weekends.

The Sugar Plum Fairy, the Mouse King, Clara, Uncle Drosselmeyer and all the Nutcracker characters will return to the St. Augustine stage this holiday season. Saint Augustine Ballet presents the 13th Annual Nutcracker to the community — a timeless classic featuring professional ballet dancers and dance students from St. Augustine and surrounding areas.

Celebrate Las Posadas commemorating the journey that Joseph and Mary made from Nazareth to Bethlehem at Mission Nombre De Dios. Each evening from 5 to 10 p.m. there will be five tours for Las Posadas and two performances of the Living Nativity and Eucharistic Adoration. Eucharistic Adoration is not a performance, people will come and go during the time it is open. Admission is free. Reservations required.

Enjoy the fireworks from multiple locations at this year's Fireworks & Beach Blvd. Block Party! This community-based celebration, offers a true taste of St. Augustine Beach. Stay the weekend or enjoy a night out with the family or friends. The block party takes place at businesses along A1A Beach Blvd. The block party is happening all day with businesses along the Blvd. offering discounts, live music and other specials, fireworks start at 8:30 p.m. Parking is limited and participants are encouraged to carpool.

What better way to ring in the new year than with this classic Verdi masterpiece, fully staged with orchestra? First Coast Opera presents one of the most iconic, romantic and tragic scores of all time at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College. Shows are Friday, December 31 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 2 at 2 p.m.

16. Dancing Through the Decades

Date: December 31, 2021

Ring in 2022 in style with this Decades themed event. This event features a VIP Reception with private viewing of the "Light Up the Nights" Fireworks from the Oceanside Event Lawn, followed by an elaborate reception and dancing in our grand ballroom, as well as a classic NYE countdown at mid-night.
