What You Need To Know

This performance by A Classic Theatre shares the story of the 1942 meeting of two American writers - Zora Neale Hurston and Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. The performance imagines the conversation between two of Florida's best loved writers' first meeting at St. Augustine's Castle Warden Hotel, run by Rawlings' husband Norton Baskin, and later at Cross Creek as they share their musings on life. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center. After the Sunday performance, there will be a "talk back" with the play's author. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and can be purchased through the website or reserved by phone.
