Poets and poetry lovers are all invited to celebrate National Pride Month, live at The Waterworks, with the local poetry community.

The St. Johns Cultural Council and Ancient City Poets present “An Open Mic Celebration of Pride”

Share two or three of your polished poems or share some fresh ink from your notebook during Saint Augustine’s longest-running open mic poetry event. Invite friends to bring a folding chair and cheer you on.

Ancient City Poets plans to create a safe place for sharing on the subject of National Pride Month. If you would like to share a poem, please arrive at 2:30 p.m. on the day of the reading and get your name on the list. There is space on the list for 15 poets at 5 minutes each. At 3 p.m., the readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the sign-up sheet.
