Overview
Bob Patterson & Carol Kramer present the 3rd Annual Lullaby of the Rivers Festival to be held at N. Shores Community Park, Vilano Beach
“Lullaby of the Rivers Festival” is a celebration of our state’s natural resources with a focus on environmental consciousness to preserve, protect and educate everyone-especially our youth- about the fragility of our water resources.
This Earth Day celebration is to awaken and nurture connections to nature in gatherings of all ages, with music and stories that inspire.
The Lullaby of the Rivers Festival is an annual Earth Day event that seeks to awaken connections to nature by using music and stories as a means to inspire environmental awareness.
With a lineup like this they're all headliners, but of special note is the Currys, one of Florida's all-time favorites who captivate audiences with their songwriting, harmonies, and genuine good-natured fun, and Sauce Boss, the legendary Bill Wharton, who will heat it up on Sunday playing swamp-funk slide guitar while cooking gumbo right on the stage.
The event includes environmental education booths with interactive activities; musical performances on the hour from the area’s finest entertainers; storytellers highlighting natural habitat themes; food trucks; vendors and lots of fun and sun. Raffles, drinks, and surprises from youthful songsters crooning the Lullaby tine and storytelling with nature themes.
The festival takes place from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at North Shores Community Park, 120 Meadow Ave., Vilano Beach. General admission tickets range from $15-$40; children under 12 free. 120 Meadow Ave., St. Augustine. www.lullabyoftherivers.com
