Crisp-Ellert Art Museum Artist Residency alumna Erin Kendrick (Jacksonville, FL) will exhibit a new body of work that reflects her recent research into the connections between the Negro Baseball League’s Cuban Giants who played in St. Augustine in the late 1920s, and staff at the Hotel Ponce de Leon (built in 1888, now the centerpiece of Flagler College).

Kendrick’s work has been included in solo and group exhibitions at venues such as Yellow House, Jacksonville; Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, Jacksonville; Florida State College at Jacksonville; Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Museum, Port Elizabeth, South Africa; New Orleans African American Museum; and the Ritz Theater and Museum, Jacksonville, among others. Kendrick maintains a studio at CoRK Arts District in Jacksonville, Florida.

Admission is free. Open Monday- Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 48 Sevilla St., St. Augustine. www.flagler.edu/information-for/community-members/arts--culture/crisp-ellert-art-museum
