Lightner Museum presents Ericka Sobrack: Suburban Echoes as the final Lightner Local exhibition of 2021 series. Sobrack’s small-scale landscape paintings focus on domestic scenes of suburban America. Shrouded in darkness, the paintings deconstruct familiar environments, creating dream-like settings that amplify feelings of anticipation, angst, and trepidation. The exhibition opens during First Friday Artwalk on September 3 (5-6:30 p.m.) and runs through October 18.
