Overview
Originally founded in 1892 as the Guards Symphony Orchestra, the ensemble merged with the Academic Symphony Orchestra in 1938, becoming the Royal Military Symphony Orchestra. After 1945, it transformed into the renowned SOFIA PHILHARMONIC, serving as Bulgaria's national orchestra. Known for its cultural significance, the orchestra will perform a program of Mozart's music at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College.
