Overview
Come out and enjoy the St. Paul AME Community Festival, one in a series of events celebrating the 150th anniversary of the historic church. The festival will include fun for the entire family, with food, music, vendors, a children’s corner and live entertainment! The St. Paul AME church family is excited to commemorate “150 Years of Transforming and Impacting Lives.” Since 1873, the historic church has been a stalwart in the Lincolnville community. St. Paul played a major role during the 1960’s Civil Rights movement. Rev. Martin Luther King, Andrew Young, Hosea Williams, Ralph Abernathy and Jackie Robinson are among the civil rights leaders who encouraged participants from St. Paul’s pulpit. Admission is free.
