Overview
Celebrate the 100-Year Anniversary of St. Augustine’s Sister City Relationship with Aviles, Spain, by visiting the *Art in Public Spaces* exhibition, presented by the St. Johns Cultural Council and the St. Augustine Art Association. Held in the Rotunda Gallery at the St. Johns County Administration Building, the exhibition, *Under the Same Sky*, features works by Martha Ferguson from St. Augustine, Florida, and Samuel Fernandez Armas from Aviles, Spain. Both artists participated in the first-ever artist exchange between the Sister Cities since the inaugural visit to Spain in 1924. Martha Ferguson, selected for her plein air painting expertise, accompanied the Mayoral delegation to Aviles in August 2024 to present her painting as a gift from St. Augustine. The exhibit will be on view at the Rotunda Gallery at the St. Johns County Administration Building from Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine. www.historiccoastculture.com
