Enjoy the historic St. Paul AME Church’s 150th Anniversary Worship Celebration and Community Celebration that starts at 10:45 a.m. with a the 150th Anniversary Worship Celebration and a 3 p.m. Community Celebration: “150 Years of Transforming and Impacting Lives.” Since 1873, the historic church has been a stalwart in the Lincolnville community. St. Paul played a major role during the 1960’s Civil Rights movement. Rev. Martin Luther King, Andrew Young, Hosea Williams, Ralph Abernathy and Jackie Robinson are among the civil rights leaders who encouraged participants from St. Paul’s pulpit.
