St. Augustine
February 28, 2019 to March 17, 2019

Just minutes away from Sawgrass via A1A, St. Augustine offers visitors myriad things to see and do.

For those of you who love to explore the nation’s history, the Oldest City is a treasure trove of sites to see – the Castillo de San Marcos, the St. Augustine Lighthouse and historic homes – among many others.

We invite you to take a tour of the Peña-Peck House.

Named for the first and last occupants of the house, it was built circa 1750 by order of the King of Spain for Spanish Royal Treasurer Juan Estevan de Peña and his wife Maria Antonia.

The house is furnished with the 19th-century art and antiques of its last occupants, the Peck family. Thanks to granddaughter Anna Gardner Burt, it is open to the public today.

Let our well-versed docents will lead you on a by-donation tour. Then, shop in the Woman’s Exchange Gift Shop, which is located in what was once Dr. Peck’s office. There you’ll find items hand-crafted items by local men and women.

Tour hours are Sunday through Friday 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shop hours are Monday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and, Sunday 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Members of the Exchange welcome you to the Players Championship and hope you’ll take a day-trip to St. Augustine and drop in to see us at the Peña-Peck House.
