Free concerts are part of the summer music mainstay. Every Wednesday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. locals and visitors alike bring a chair and a cooler to St. Johns County Pier Park for the Music by the Sea Concert series.  On Thursdays, music lovers gather in the Plaza de la Constitucion for free concerts from 7-9 p.m.
 
This summer, the award-winning St. Augustine Amphitheatre and the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall host top names in rock, pop, country, blues, soul, reggae, contemporary and acoustic. 
 
Through August bands and performers include Rebelution, Stick Figure, and Through the Roots. Sublime, Barenaked Ladies, Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark, Howard Jones and Twenty-One Pilots. MY2K featuring 98 Degrees with O-Town, Dream and Ryan Cabrera. Slightly Stoopid, Ray LaMontagne and Goo Goo Dolls all round out this hot schedule of summer concerts.
 
The Limelight Theatre’s ongoing Music in the Box live acoustic series brings the area’s best up-and-coming bands and musicians to the stage.
 
And of course any day or night of the week you’ll enjoy the live music emanating from local restaurants and taverns.
