St. Augustine Film Festival Appeals to Film Lovers and Film Makers Alike

Whether you are a “theater geek,” an aspiring film maker or someone who watches a movie once it’s available for streaming, you’ll find something to love and maybe something unexpected at the St. Augustine Film Festival.

The four-day film festival January 18 – 21, 2018, takes place at various locations throughout St. Augustine, each within walking distance of the others. This way you have time to stop and see the historic sites and museums and enjoy the variety of sumptuous restaurants nearby.

The festival promotes a love of film but also educates on the art of film making. Selections include an eclectic group of films including documentaries, comedies, dramas, romances and other genres from countries around the world as well as supporting great home-grown talent.

There are typically several special events where you can meet film makers.Signature events are the Opening Night Party; the Centerpiece Party on Saturday and the It’s A Wrap on Sunday evening. Events take place at historic sites within St. Augustine to give attendees a special venue that they might not normally visit, as well as musical entertainment, food and wine.
