Defy gravity at St. Augustine Aquarium and St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park

ZIPStream’s Castaway Canopy Adventure, St. Augustine Aquarium

ZIPStream’s Castaway Canopy Adventure at the St. Augustine Aquarium challenges you with seven zip lines and four bridges traversing through the forest canopy with a fully certified tour guide. You’ll get a birds-eye-view of the aquarium grounds and get up close to several tree species, including Brutus, the beautiful Laurel Oak that is home to Johnny Castaway’s tree house.

And if you are not familiar with Florida’s ecology, ZIPStream’s guides will point out birds like the red tail hawk, animals like the resident grey squirrels and the forest undergrowth, which is home to creatures like the gopher tortoise.

This high-flying adventure is perfect for individuals or groups. Prices range from $59.95 for adults 12 and over and $54.95 for children 50 pounds and under. ZipStream’s Castaway Canopy Adventure is open Friday through Sunday, weather permitting.

Crocodile Crossing, St. Augustine Alligator Farm

St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park is one of the most popular attractions on Florida’s Historic Coast. Visit the attraction and wander through boardwalks to see American alligators, crocodiles, giant tortoises, red-ruffed lemurs, colorful tropical birds, wading birds, reptiles and much more. Or you can choose to see the zoo’s resident wildlife from a different vantage point.

Crocodile Crossing, located at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park, has two different challenging zip line courses to choose from over seven acres. These aerial excursions include more than 50 obstacles and 17 zip lines that will have you climbing and zooming through the zoo. You’ve never conquered a zip line like this – flying over alligators and crocodiles right under your toes and coming eye-to-eye with tropical birds.

There are two different courses to choose from. The Sepik River Course has nine zip lines and takes about 45 minutes to complete. Or you can take on the more challenging Nile River course with its 17 ziplines, which takes approximately 90 minutes to complete.

The Sepik River Course is $37 and Nile River Course is $67.00, and you’ll receive half-off admission to the zoo with Sepik River and free admission with a Nile River ticket purchase. All participants must be 8 years or older, at least 52 inches tall and less than 250 pounds.
