Summertime in St. Augustine is alive with the sound of music. And you can enjoy live entertainment all summer long with free concerts.

Free Beach Concerts

On Wednesdays, head to St. Augustine Beach. Free concerts are held every Wednesday night from 7-9 pm offering a wide variety of musical genres May through September at the St. Johns County Ocean Pier Park. Take a chair and snacks or purchase a meal from a local restaurant. A different restaurant will be on-site serving a delicious dinner for $10 or less each week, as well. Dig your toes in the sand and relax with your friends by the ocean while enjoying entertainment from some of the best local and up-and-coming artists from St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra Beach.

Concerts in the Plaza

Bring a chair or blanket and relax in the Plaza de la Constitucion every Thursday night through Aug. 30 for Concerts in the Plaza. Beginning at 7 pm in the gazebo, the City of St. Augustine presents bands from all genres during free open-air concerts in the center of the historic district. So come downtown, enjoy the music, have a bite to eat, stroll the quaint brick streets and celebrate the summer!

Colonial Oak Music Park

The Colonial Oak Music Park will once again offer a free summer concert series select Thursdays through Sundays each week. Entertainment is from 7-10 pm Fridays and Saturdays and 3-7 pm Sundays. The beautiful outdoor stage is nestled under the boughs of Colonial Oak trees, which form a canopy over the dance floor. Bands include local and national music acts, and food and drink are available for purchase. The Colonial Oak Music Park is located inside the Colonial Quarter at 33 St. George Street.

Anastasia State Park

Anastasia State Park is holding free concerts on select Saturdays each summer. (Check the website for current schedules.) One of the state’s natural treasures, this pristine park will be alive with music (in addition to wildlife that call the park home) through August. From 5-6 pm there is an open jam session with local musicians invited to perform, followed by a two-hour show from 6-8 pm at the beach pavilion. Concerts are free with paid park admission, which ranges from $2-8. Island Beach Grill will serve up food and drink specials during each concert. The park is located at 300 Anastasia Park Rd.
