What You Need To Know

This week honors the 250th anniversary of our Greek immigration history and the arrival of the first colony of Greeks in North America. On Tuesday is a lecture presented by Tina Bucavales titled Greek Music in America at 6 p.m. in the Flagler Room at Flagler College, 74 King St. On Wednesday is Glendi at the Colonial Oak Music Park, 33 St. George St., at 6 p.m. featuring Elladha Band & Anthea Sidiropoulos. The cover charge is $10. On Thursday is a lecture presented by Dan Schaffer titled The Turnbull-Duncan Papers and the New Smyrna Colony at 6 p.m. at the St. Photios Greek Orthodox Shrine, 41 St. George St. On Friday there will be a lecture presented by Ann Browning Masters titled Sharing Memories of Our Heritage at 6 p.m. at the St. Photios Greek Orthodox Shrine. On Saturday there will be a walk from the St. Photios Greek Orthodox Shrine to the Plaza de la Constitución featuring the St. Augustine Garrison historic re-enactors at 6 p.m.
