What You Need To Know

Find out how and why St. Augustine became America's Riviera for many of the nation's wealthiest families during America's Gilded Age. This 75-minute guided walking tour will take you downtown to see and learn about St. Augustine's rich Gilded Age history. Highlights include exterior tours of several magnificent structures built by Henry Flagler, co-founder of Standard Oil, including the former Ponce de Leon Hotel, Hotel Alcazar and Memorial Presbyterian Church. This specialty tour departs from Tour Saint Augustine at 4 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month through January. The cost is $20 per person. Advance reservations required.
