Future Islands at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall
The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes Baltimore-based synthpop trio Future Islands. Led by crooning frontman Samuel T. Herring, the members of Future Islands started out making electropop music together in 2003 while attending East Carolina University's art program. More than a decade later, the trio has earned its stripes as one of music's most quixotic and emotionally involving performers while maintaining an admirable level of skill and pace. Doors open at 7 p.m.; performance at 8 p.m. Admission is $28 and $26.
