Dressing Downton™ Exhibition Opening Day and Speaker Series
Immerse yourself in fashion and history in this highly anticipated exhibition at the Lightner Museum featuring 36 authentic Victorian Era costumes and accessories from PBS's most popular television drama in history, Downton Abbey®. Opening day offers multiple events, including a talk by Jessica Fellowes, author and speaker on everything Downton Abbey, titled Downton Abbey: At Home with the Family at 10:30 a.m. at Flagler College's Flagler Room. She will talk about life as an "upstairs" member of the Downton family and how it relates to the Lightner Museum's history. At noon there will be a VIP lunch with Fellowes. Join her for an exclusive luncheon in Flagler College's Solarium for an opportunity to talk with the author. At 3 p.m. at Flagler College's Flagler Room, Fellowes will give a talk titled Downton Abbey: Behind the Green Baize Doors and will talk about life as a "downstairs" member of the Downton family and how it relates to the Lightner Museum. The exhibition will be on display at the Lightner Museum, 75 King St. Flagler College, where the talks and luncheon will take place, is located at 74 King St.
